Career
He is 2.03m (6"8") tall. He plays mainly at the small forward position, but he can also play at the shooting guard and power forward positions. Perperoglou began his playing career with the youth clubs of Association for the Study of Internal Fixation Kavalas and Iviskos.
He started his professional career with Ilysiakos in 2002, and then he moved to Panionios in 2004.
In 2007, he transferred from Panionios to the big Greek Euroleague club Panathinaikos. In August 2012, he signed a two year contract with Olympiacos.
On June 18, 2014, he signed a two-year deal with Anadolu Efes. On July 23, 2015, he left Efes and signed a two-year deal with Football Club Barcelona Lassa.
He also played at the 2004 International Basketball Federation Europe Under-20 Championship.
He also played at the 2010 International Basketball Federation World Championship, the EuroBasket 2013, and the EuroBasket 2015. Stratos is married to former Women's National Basketball Association player Erin Buescher Perperoglou and they live together in Istanbul.
