Sue launched her career as a college administrator and instructor at the University of Alaska. Her first book, Murder on the Iditarod Trail, the first book of Alex Jensen and Jessie Arnold series, was written in 1991. The series includes twelve more books. The Serpents Trail, The Tooth of Time, The Refuge and The End of the Road are the titles of The Maxie and Stretch series.
