Achievements include pioneering work in situ detection of cell death by apoptosis; significant contribution to unraveling of pathobiology of myelodysplastic syndromes (Myelodysplastic Syndromes ); development of a technique to detect cell death and proliferation simultaneously; avocations: theater and dramatics, writing and reporting, poetry.
