Attached to 1st Battalion Royal Irish Fus., battle of Tel-el-Kebir (medal with clasp, bronze star).
Nile Expedition 1898, Principal Medical Officer British Brigade, battle of Atbara (despatches). Aftenvards Principal Medical Officer British Division, battle of Khartoum (despatches, Companion of the Bath, Egyptian medal, two clasps, English medal).
Principal Medical Officer Lincolnshire of Communication, South Africa, 1899-1902 (despatches Uvice, Queen's and King’s 1318 medals with 3 clasps). Retired, 1906. Decorated for Nile Expedition, 1898.
