Thornberry, Susan L. was born on August 7, 1944 in Long Beach, California, United States. Daughter of Charles Gallemore Thornberry and Virginia (Irving) Beeks.


Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, California College Arts, Oakland, 1977. Master of Arts in Art Education, Arizona State University, 1988. Certified, Western Arts Management Institute, 1988.
