He graduated from Practical Course of Agriculture Department of Hokkaido University (1928).
Served as engineer of Japan Butter Association, Hokkaido Seiraku Hambai Kumiai Rengokai (Hokkaido League of Lactic Manufacture & Dairy Products Sales Association) anci Hokkaido Kono Kosha (Hokkaido Agriculture Promotion Corporation) and then as chief of Milk Production Department of Sapporo Seiraku Kojo (Sapporo Lactic Plant).
Later became managing director of Hokkaido Rakuno Kyodo Kumiai (Hokkaido Dairy Farmers' Cooperative Union) (1947), councilor of Zenkoku Rakuno Kyokai (National Dairy Farming Association) (1948), member of Hokkaido District Foodstuff Sanitation Committee, director of Nihon Nyiiseihin Kyokai (Japan Dairy Products Association) (1950), director of Nihon Rakuno Koshiijo (Japan Dairy Farming Training Institute) (1950) and became senior managing director of Hokkaido Butter Company (since 1950).
Went to U.S.A. (1950). Assumed additional posts of director of Nihon Chikusan Kyokai (Japan Livestock Industry Association) and expert adviser of Norin Busshi Kikaku Chosakai (Agriculture & Forestry Materials Standard Investigation Committee) (1951).
