Swami Karunamoorthy, Indian Engineering educator. Achievements include research on aeroelasticity of helicopter, two dimensional theory of finite state aerodynamics, and micromechanics of composite materials and kinematics of mechanisms; developed a new setof orthogonal polynomials for vibration of beams and helicopter rotor blades.
