Career

Began teaching school at 15 and taught 15 years. Principal high school 4 years. Teacher at Ohio University, Athens, 1882-1884.

Vice-president and professor science and German, Bowling Green (Missouri) College, 2 years, 1884-1886.

Specialized in elocution and penmanship. Ordained ministry Christian (Disciples) Church, 1885.

State evangelist of Christian churches of Missouri, 1888-1891. General evangelism, since 1891.

Has conducted over 295 revivals.
