Tadao Ueda was born in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan in 1903.
Tadao Ueda graduated from the Philosophy Department of Kyoto University in 1928.
Tadao Ueda started his career from serving as a teacher at Ibaraki Prefectural Normal School and Tennoji Normal School. Also, later he was a manager at the elementary school attached to Nagano Prefectural Normal School. Since that position, he experienced a rapid career growth. Tadao became a school commissioner of Shiga Prefecture, acting principal of Seta Technical School, chief of Labor Section and Social Education Section of Shiga Prefectural Government, school commissioner of Saitama Prefectural Government, dean of students and professor of Kanazawa Normal School.
Subsequently, Tadao Ueda became president of Kanazawa Josen Gakuen (Kanazawa Women's College). At the same time, he delivered lectures at Medical College attached to Kanazawa Women's University and became president of Kanazawa Women's Junior College in 1950.
Tadao held additional posts of the counselor of Ishikawa Prefectural Social Education Association. He was a managing director of Kanazawa UNESCO Cooperative Association and a director of Ishikawa Prefectural Branch of United Nations Association.
