Takehito Yukitomo served as subassistant at his alma mater and then entered Asahi Denka Kogyo Kaisha (Asahi Electrification Industry Company). He became director (1946) and then president of Nihon Agncultural Insecticide & Fungicide Manufacturing Company (since 1955) and member of Noyaku Shizai Shingikai (Agricultural Insecticide & Fungicide Materials Council).
