Perkins, Tammy Jo was born on May 10, 1959 in Salem, Ohio, United States. Daughter of Glenn Wayne and Janet Elaine (Galbreath) Perkins.


Bachelor, Drake University, 1981. Master of Public Administration, University Denver, 1982.


Management intern, City of Boulder, Colorado, 1980;management intern, City of Phoenix, 1982-1983;management assistant, City of Phoenix, since 1983. Board directors City of Phoenix Deferred Compensation Board, since 1989.

In order to do that, it is necessary to become aware of different points of view and be able to develop critical thinking in relation to any political or social problem.
