Graduated from the Leningrad Theatre Institute, 1972.
Worked at the Leningrad Theatre for Children until 1975, when she joined the Leningrad Comedy Theatre. In 1982, became a member of the Russian Drama Theatre. Played Sonya in Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya, which brought her national recognition.
