From 1967 to 1973 she studied in Jana Rozentala School of Art in Riga, where she received college-level education. From 1975 to 1981 she studied in Latvian Academy of Arts, department of painting, followed. From 1984 to 1987 she studied in post-graduate course (master class) at the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Arts.
She studied with Western school academics such as marine painter Eduards Kalnins (Eduard Kalnins).
Palchuk studied the European academic school of painting. In 2003 she received Master of Arts in Fine Arts and Painting.

Tatyana artistic product is influenced by the Italian Renaissance era, Northern Renaissance (15th – 16th century), French Illuminated Manuscripts (15th century). She is also a painting, drawing and composition tutor and lector. Her students work in many countries.
Tanya regularly participates in exhibitions.
She has had ten solo exhibitions and many group exhibitions. Her paintings are in public collections and many private collections.
