Fang founded Tera Capital, a private investment firm that invests in private and public equities and hospitality related businesses in Asia Pacific. The team successfully made Days Inn China (美国戴斯酒店集团,中国. Měiguó Dàisī Jiǔdiàn Jítuán, Zhōngguó) the fastest growing mid-market hotel chain in China.
Fang oversees the overall strategic direction of the group and all its investment activities.
Fang started his career in oil trading in 1992. In 1995, he founded an Information Technology company and in 2003, he founded Tera Capital.
Fang was listed by Prestige Lifestyle Magazine as one of Singapore"s 200 most powerful and influential people in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014. Fang represented the Singapore Squash National Team in the Singapore Squash Championships, 1980 to 1985.
