Ted Fang founded Tera Capital in 2003, a once Singapore based private investment firm that invested in private equities and hospitality related businesses in Asia Pacific. The team successfully acquired and made Days Inn China (美国戴斯酒店集团,中国. Měiguó Dàisī Jiǔdiàn Jítuán, Zhōngguó) the fastest growing mid-market hotel chain in China with a portfolio of 92 hotels in 54 cities across 22 provinces.
Fang oversaw the overall strategic direction of the group and all its investment activities. He was active in Tera Capital, Tera Partners & Tera Realty from 2003 to 2021.
He has spent almost two decades in China particularly in Shanghai and Beijing.
