Teik Thye Lim

Teik Thye Lim, environmental engineer, educator. Achievements include development of nanoscale reductive materials; discovery of oil cleanup sorbent from Kapok tree; development of effective sludge and waste stabilization techniques; research in arsenic removal from groundwater; research in toxic chemicals removal from wastewater. Recipient MAICE Annual award, 1992; grantee University Senior scholarship, 1990.
