Teikichi Nishiuchi graduated from Kyoto University (1903). Went to America and stayed for two years to study mathematics.
After serving as instructor of Kyoto University and of Osaka Higher Technical School, approved assistant professor of Kyoto University (1915). Teikichi Nishiuchi appointed professor of Kyoto University (1932). Appointed director of the Science Department of the university. Retired in 1942 and became professor of Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto.
