Career
Tetsurd Ikeda served as consultant to the Tokyo Astronomical Observatory and the Central Meteorological Observatory and director (1943) of the Latitude Observatory. Known for his studies on influence of weather on observation of latitude. Received research fund from Ministry of Education for studies on upper aircurrent and precision clock for astronomical observation.
