Career
Frank who has a degree in coaching and sports psychology started his management career in 1995. He coached various youth teams on Sjælland until 2008. On 1 July 2008 he replaced Glen Riddersholm as manager of the Danish national under-17 football team
In the summer of 2012 he was promoted to manager of the Danish national under-19 football team
Despite having success in the qualification for the 2013 Union of European Football Associations European Under-19 Football Championship his team failed to qualify losing the last game 1–0 against Portugal. On 10 June 2013 he was named the new manager of Brøndby IF in the Danish Superliga.
He resigned on 9 March 2016, when several Danish newspapers found out that Brøndby-chairman January Bech Andersen under a pseudonym had criticised Franks management of the club on an internet fan forum.
