The firm was established originally as Litts & Perovich in 1940, and with the addition of Robert H. Mullen, became Litts, Mullen & Perovich in 1942. Subsequent additions, and the retirement of three partners, brought the firm to its present complement of 5 (five) attorneys.
In 1984, Mullen, Sullivan & Newton was established as the permanent name. As the largest firm in Northern San Joaquin County, its clientele extends through the several mid-central valley counties, from Sacramento to Merced, and from Tuolumne to Contra Costa.
