Career

Ordained priest R.C. Church, at Montreal, 1897. Assistant pastor St. Ann’s Church, Manchester, N.H., 1898-1899, St. John’s Church, Concord, 1899-1904. Served as administrator of the parish for 4 months after death of Vicar General John E. Barry, and assisted in administration for 3 years.

Served as chancellor and secretary to Bishop J. B. Delancy. Made vicar general and permanent rector of St. John’s, Concord, N.H. Consecrated bishop of Springfield, September 8, 1921.
