At age 16, Tina moved to Sleepy Hollow, New York and graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School in 2006. Parol studied record engineering and music business at New York University"s Clive Davis Department before dropping out to record her debut album for Universal Motown Records.
Her first single "Who"s Got Your Money" was released on April 7, 2009, on iTunes. lieutenant was released for radio airplay on May 19, 2009, and reached #35 on the Billboard People’s Songs charts. She wrote her first song at the age of 11, titled "Gypsy Woman".
At the age of 13, she decided to become a professional songwriter and by 15, set her sights on becoming a recording artist as well.
Aside from her artist career, Parol is also an active songwriter, having written the international B-Side "Rock Boy" (also the B-Side to "If U Seek Amy") for Britney Spears album Circus. Parol co-produced her first artist single "Who"s Got Your Money".Parol"s debut digital iTunes-only European Parliament, Bite My Tongue, was released on October 20, 2009.
Parol"s music has had several appearances in film and television Her first single "Who"s Got Your Money" was placed in the popular Music Television hit series The City as well as in CW’s Melrose Place.
"Hold Onto Your Heart" was used in Touchstone Pictures" When in Rome, a feature film starring Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel, and was also used in the film"s soundtrack alongside songs by Katy Perry and Jason Mraz.
"What Else Do I Need" and "I"m Alive" were both used in the promos as well as in the actual Drop Dead Diva television series (Lifetime). "I"m Alive" was also used in Fox"s So You Think You Can Dance. And "Crazy" was used in the promos and advertisements for Fox’s new series titled Brothers.
Parol currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee and is focused primarily on songwriting.
Her cuts span the genres of country, popular, EDM, hip-hop and film/television She will also be performing at the 98 PXY Summer Jam Concert in Rochester, New York with artists such as Flo Rida and Boys Like Girls.
