After his moving to Shanghai Mr. Chin served as a managing director of Ting Sheng Native Bank, Ningbo. He was a director of Jiangsu & Zhejiang Bank, Shanghai, director of the the Bank of Jiangnan, director of Chung Wai Bank, Shanghai.
Chin Ting-sheng also held the following positions: committee member of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai, director of the China Merchants Steam Navigation Company, vice-President of Jen Chi Hospital, Ningbo. Mr. China was a holder of executive positions in several other large Chinese commercial organizations in Shanghai and Ningbo.
