Tofu-no-Ono was a courtier and calligrapher. He served the three emperors. Good at both cursive and printed style of calligraphy.
Tofu-no-Ono was born in 894. He was grandson of Takamura Ono.
Tofu-no-Ono served the three emperors of Daigo, Suzaku and Murakami. Impressed by his art, Emperor Daigo made him brush the name-tablet of the Daigoji Temple and write two volumes of calligraphy, one in the cursive and the other in the printed style.
