Graduated from Practical Course of Agricultural Department of Tokyo University (1917).
Served successively as engineer of Tokushima Prefectural Agricultural Assembly, part-time counselor of Teikoku (Imperial) Agricultural Association, assistant engineer and secretary of Toyama Prefectural Agricultural Assembly and secretary of Noson Kosei Kyokai (Farming- Villages Rehabilitation Association) and thereafter became chief of Secretariat of Industrial Union (1937), private secretary to Minister of Agriculture and Forestry (1940) and inspector of Agricultural Land Deveiopment Corporation (1941).Elected four times to House of Representatives (since 1947) and became Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Agriculture and Forestry (1954) Served also as chairman of Niiminato City Agricultural Association and member of Countermeasure Committee for Promotion of Snowy and Cold Areas and One-Crop Areas. Members of House of Rep-resentatives and member of Liberal-Democratic Party.
