Toshio Okayama was born 1903.

Education

Toshio Okayama graduated Tokyo University in 1930.

Career

In 1930 was appointed instructor at Meiji and Hosei universities to become professor at both universities (1946 and 1947 respectively). Founded the Geographic Review (1954) and has been its editor since then.

Achievements

• Made a topographical survey of the mountain regions of Chiba to study formation and soil erosion.
