Education
Toyoichi Yamamoto graduated from a middle school, studied at the Taihei Painting School under Kogan Tobari.
Career
Toyoichi Yamamoto displayed his paintings at the Inten Exhibition and became member of the Nippon Art Board in 1923. He stayed in Europe in 1924-1929 and studied sculpture from artisan Maillol. Toyoichi Yamamoto was appointed professor of the Tokyo University of Art in 1947.
