Education
Toyoichi Yamamoto graduated from a middle school. He studied at the Taihei Painting School under Kogan Tobari.
Career
Toyoichi Yamamoto displayed his paintings at the Inten Exhibition and became member of the Nippon Art Board (1923). Stayed in Europe (1924-1929) and studied sculpture from artisan Maillol. He was appointed professor of the Tokyo University of Art (1947).
