Career
Entered Railway Ministryand became First Secretary at Japanese Embassy in New York (1937), inspector of Railway and consultant to Shanghai Municipal Government (1943), counselor at Postwar Liaison Office (1945), member of Railway Council of House of Representatives (1946), director of Standing Committee for Transportation and Traffic of House of Representatives, member of Standing Committee for Repatriation of House of representatives and chairman of Standing Committee for Repatriation of Japanese Nationals Abroad of House of Representatives (1947), chief secretary of' Tochigi Prefectural Chapter of Progressive Party, mamber of Central Executive Committee of the same party and director of Japanese-Thai Society (1949). Elected twice to House of Representatives (1952 and 1953).
