Career
Tyrell was a 2010 NFL Draft prospect and was selected to play in the 2010 Valero Cactus Bowl, which is the annual Division II All-Star Game which took place on January 8, 2010 in Kingsville, Texas. In 2011, he played for the Trenton Steel of the Southern Indoor Football League.
At the conclusion of the Steel"s season Zimmerman was signed by the Tulsa Talons of the Arena Football League.
Tyrell is the President and Chief Executive Officer of ZIMMNATION Foundation Doctorate.R.3E.A.M. The mission of the organization is Tyrell"s dream, which is described through the acronym Doctorate.R.3E.A.M., Developing Resources to Empower youth through Education, Enrichment, Athletics, and Mentorship. Zimmerman"s younger brother, Ta"Quan, is a professional basketball player.
Membership
Later on in 2010 he became a member of the Billings Outlaws of the Indoor Football League.
