Ushio Tanaka

Background

Ushio Tanaka was born in 1899 in Tokyo, Japan.

Education

Graduated from Tokyo Umversity (1913) with a degree in agriculture and after completing a special course in vetermary surgery in Japan he left (1923) for further studies at France England, America and Germany.

Career

Was professor at Tokyo University (1931-50). Emeritus professor (since 1950). Became president of Tokyo College of Agricultural Technology and a member of Japan Veterinary Science Society.
