Vadim Gennadievich Belov graduated from the Moscow Higher Technical School named after Bauman, specializing in "elements and systems of automatic control" (1963) and сompleted postgraduate studies (1970).
At the Kaliningrad Mechanical Plant (1963-1966), Vadim Gennadievich Belov dealt with the problems of docking of space objects, as well as with the influence of radioactive radiation on electronic equipment. Working in the Ministry of Medium Machine-Building Industry (1966-1968), he supervised a number of enterprises, including the Kurchatov Institute.
Since 1968 Vadim Gennadievich has proceeded from technical management systems to the study of socio-economic aspects of management in the production sector. After completing postgraduate studies (1968-1970) and defending his Doctor of Philosophy. thesis, he deals with problems of mechanization and automation of managerial work, as well as the development of automated management systems in various branches of the national economy (All-Union Research Institute of Office Equipment, 1970-1971, 1974-1978; State Committee on Science and Technology, 1971-1974). During this period, he supervised projects on the labour organization and mechanization in the State Planning Committee (commonly known as Gosplan) of the RSFSR, the Ministry of Instrument Engineering, the Ulyanovsk inter-commissariat-building association, the Mossoviet, Moscow Tire Plant and a number of other organizations.
After active participation in the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, Vadim Gennadievich moves to teaching at the Moscow Higher Party School. Being one of the heads of the department "Economics and Organization of Industrial Production and Construction", he designs and teaches the course "Production Management" and heads the author's teams for the preparation and creation of several academic and scientific works on a wide range of management problems. He published more than 100 scientific works. On the basis of these works, he writes and defends his doctoral thesis.
In 1990 he is at first appointed deputy director of Moscow Institute of Economics and Management, and then director of the publishing house of the Academy of Social Sciences of the CPSU Central Committee (later - the publishing house "Lutch").
Since 1993 Vadim Gennadievich began to cooperate with the business community and in 1995 he moved to the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Mayor and the Government of Moscow for the post of Council executive secretary. In 1996, members of the Council established the "Moscow Entrepreneur" foundation, and Belov V.G. becomes its president. He is also the vice-president of two academies, a full member of several academies, finance and law.
