Graduated from the Tbilisi Ballet School, 1923.
Career
Dancer, and later soloist with the Rostov-onDon, Saratov, Baku and Tashkent theatres. From 1932, choreographer. With the Odessa Theatre, 1940-1954, and the Shevchenko Theatre, 1954-1969.
Artistic director and chief choreographer of the Ukrainian Ballet on Ice, 1961-1973.
