Career
From 1925 in Red Navy. 1933-1935 commanded a destroyer. 1935-1936 first officer on a battleship.
1936-1937 military adviser and chief of staff Destroyer Flotilla of Spanish Republican Navy. 1937-1948 commanded a naval brigade.
1938-1940 commander, Northern Fleet. 1940-1941 commandant of a naval college. 1941-1943 commander, detachment of light vessels, then squadron commander, Baltic Fleet.
