Head of the literary department at the Volkov Teatre, Iaroslavl’, 1952-1955. From 1958 taught at the Leningrad Theatre School (now the Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music and Film). From 1952, ballet critic.
Has written many articles and books about ballet personalities.
