In 1957 Vasiliy Mitrofanovich graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Statistics of the Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics.
Career
In 1957-1965 Vasiliy Mitrofanovich was an economist at the statistical office of the Voronezh region, at an electrical engineering plant, at the Department of Economic Planning of the National Economy Council of the Central Black Earth Economic Region. Since 1965 was a graduate student, teacher, associate professor, head of the Department of Political Economy at the Voronezh State University, dean of the Faculty of Economics (1969-1979). Since 1972, head of the Department of Labor Economics and Production Organization. Since 1979, professor, head of the Department and vice-rector of the Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics.
Author of many publications, including the book "The Economic Potential of the Social Sphere: Content. Evaluation. Analysis". (Moscow, 1991).
