He graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute (1942), where he taught in 1949-1954. He taught at the Voroshilovograd Art College (1944-1949). He worked at the Kharkov Sculpture Department of the Art Fund of the Ukrainian SSR. Participant of national, all-Union, international exhibitions since 1942.
The author of a series of sculptures, portraits of young guardsmen and the monument "The Oath of the Young Guards" in Krasnodon (1954), the monument of Eternal Glory in Dnepropetrovsk (1967), busts of heroes, famous government officials, scientists and cultural figures, participants of the Great Patriotic War (Kharkov, Kiev, 1960-1990 ).
