Vasily Mikhailovich Peskov was a Russian journalist, photographer, prose writer, who contributed a lot to the development of national mass media, correspondence and upbringing.

Vasily Mikhailovich Peskov was born on March 14, 1930 in Orlovo village, Rozhdestvensko-Khavsky district of the Central Black Earth region, Russia. From 1947 he lived with his parents at the Tresvyatskaya station of the Southeast Railway. He comes from peasants.
Education
In Voronezh, he graduated from the school of projectionists (1947).
Career
He worked as a photographer in the studio, later by the invitation of B.I. Stukalina moved to the editorial office of the newspaper "Young Communard" (1953). Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper's special correspondent (since 1956). Since 1975 hosted the television program "In the animal world" for several years.
