In 1980 Victor and his mother moved to Moscow. There in 1981 he finishes school education with good and excellent grades in the certificate. Without much difficulty he becomes a student at the N.E. Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School (since 1989 - N.E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University), the most prestigious university in the country. He studied at the Faculty of Rocket and Space Technology. After the third year, he finally was to decide on the specialization, but Victor unexpectedly decided to transfer to the Moscow Road Transport Institute. However he did not manage to complete the transfer, because in that moment (it was 1984) he was drafted into the army.
He studied at the branch of the N.E. Bauman College - Moscow State Institute of Electronic Technology (in Zelenograd). In 1988 Victor is already a graduate, for family reasons he went to Oxford City, England. There he entered the Polytechnic College and studied English, he was certified as an instructor in martial arts and opened his class, which brought money.
The management of the "KPMG" company sent him to study at the University of Bristol, where he became a master of international business and finance. The training was continued at the Paris University "Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees", from where Victor Vasilievich graduated as a master of business administration. A little later he graduated from the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland with a diploma in business development strategies.
In 1990 he moved to London. Viktor Ovsyannikov was offered to become a representative of the "Energia" concern in the UK and to engage in barter operations connected to the import of raw materials from the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries. He negotiated with British enterprises, which were in need of coal, “British Steel” and "Powergen", the generating company, he organized test deliveries of large shipment of raw materials by sea.
In 1993 Ovsyannikov became a representative of the Italian company "Italcementi" in the UK and Russia. In 1994 a new proposal followed. It was the world's largest tobacco supplier, the South African company “Casali”, which was subsequently bought by "Universal International". In 1996 V.V. Ovsyannikov moves to position of a senior manager in the international audit company "KPMG".
In KPMG V.V. Ovsyannikov was appointed as a director of corporate finance management and head of business development in the CIS countries. In 1998 he also represented the Russian state corporation "Agency for the Restructuring of Credit Organizations" (ARCO) and conducted the investigation of the activities of the bank "SBS-Agro" in association with a group of British specialists.
In 2000 he was offered the position of director of corporate finance management and also the position of senior executive director in the CIS countries in the oil and gas industry in the largest multinational audit and consulting company "Arthur Andersen". In 1995 Rosneft became a client of the company "Arthur Andersen", where Ovsyannikov was appointed as a curator of work activities with Rosneft.
In 2003, the company "Arthur Andersen" went bankrupt. V.V. Ovsyannikov becomes a key participant in a group of specialists who negotiated and accomplished the merger with Ernst & Young. In 2003, he became a partner, and since 2006 - Deputy General Director for Global Organization Operations, a member of the Global Board of Directors and the Global Partner Committee, and also one of the co-owners of the company.
In general, for the period from 1993 to 2007 V.V. Ovsyannikov has prepared and managed about 20 mergers and acquisitions, managed over 40 similar transactions in Russia, CIS countries, and the United Kingdom. Among other things Viktor was the advisor to the general director of "Rosneftegaz" OJSC, a financial adviser to the general director of “Baikalfinans” OJSC, a senior partner in working with Gazprom and Rosneft.
In 2006-2007 V.V. Ovsyannikov worked in London as a member of the Global Board of Directors of Ernst & Young and then returned to Moscow. In 2008 V.V. Ovsyannikov was appointed as the Managing Director of "Price Waterhouse Coopers".
He was elected as a professor of the Academy of Security, Defense and Law and Order.
Viktor Vasilievich is married and has two children.
