Viktor Odintsov studied at school in Novosibirsk. In 1957, he moved to Voronezh. In 1971, Viktor graduated from the journalism division of the Philology Department of the Voronezh State University.
In 1957, Viktor Vladimirovichmoved to Voronezh and started working there. He worked as a miller, photo mechanic, gas operator, polisher at factories for about ten years. Later, Viktor was engaged in journalism (mass-circulation newspapers, "The Young Communist"). Before 1992, he was an executive secretary of the Editorial Board of the magazine "Rise".
Viktor Vladimirovich also worked as a supervisor at the Regional Folk arts center, chief specialist of the Committee for Press and Information of the regional administration, a newspaperman of "South-east Express". In 1987, his book about nature "Runaround after the Rain" was published in Voronezh. In 1991, Viktor published "Subtle boundaries".
