Career
She competed in the Mission United States of America pageant in April 2008, and Mission United States pageant in 2014. Prior to winning the Mission Delaware United States crown in 2014 and placing second runner up at the Mission United States pageant, Carrieri-Russo competed in pageants for 15 years, winning various crowns, including Mission Delaware United States of America. She is the first representative of Delaware to compete in the Mission Italy United States of America Pageant, placing top six in the nation. She was born in Newark, Delaware,and is a graduate of University of Delaware with a major in English and concentration in literary studies.
Literacy advocacy In 2002, she co-founded the literacy organization Success Won"t Wait Incorporated. when she was an 18-year-old high school senior.
Since then, she has been active in promoting literacy and has helped collect and redistribute over 600,000 books to communities, schools, and non-profit organizations in need. Beauty pageant competitions Carrieri-Russo competed in pageants for nine years prior to winning Mission Delaware United States of America. She was a three-time runner-up in the Mission Delaware Teen United States of America pageant.
Carrieri-Russo held the MAO local titles of Mission Greater Wilmington, Mission First State, Mission Brandywine, and Mission Tri County. She was also the recipient of the one-time Photogenic Award at the Mission Delaware pageant in 2006.
After her year as Mission Delaware United States of America, she went on to be named a top-six finalist at the annual Mission Italia United States of America pageant.
Modelling, actress and spokesperson Carrieri-Russo has walked the catwalk in New York City for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, done catalog and print work, appeared in a feature film, emceed and hosted many events, fund raisers and national televised pageants, and has been featured on the cover of various magazines. Restaurateur A casual dining restaurant located in Wilmington, Delaware, it features authentic Italian cuisine by award-winning chefs, as well as an extensive martini Barometer The restaurant, developed by the entire Carrieri-Russo family, opened this year.
