Born on 17 October 1958, he completed school from Rewa and, Nainital. He finished his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Government Engineering College, Rewa in 1980 and is currently on its Board of Directors.
Career
He hails from the respected Bhaiya Lal Shukla family of Amahiya Rewa. He joined the Bharatiya Janta Party on November 24, 2014 in Rewa. He is simple, soft spoken, of strong values and known for his sociable and helpful nature.
Professional At the age of 21 he started to work his way up from a small position in his father’s company.
After learning the ropes of the business he started his own company. This company is now one of the leading East&C firms of Member of Parliament, and is known for producing superior quality roads and infrastructure.
Shukla has been awarded by the Government of Madhya Pradesh on various occasions for successfully completing challenging projects. He has also been the Vice-President of the Madhya Pradesh Builders" Association.
Shukla was Vice-President of the Students" Union in Government Engineering College, Rewa.
Over the years, he has quietly empowered his region with jobs, helped people settle down, find jobs and receive an education. He has built various temples and essential facilities. He has never considered himself a typical businessman with sole focus on profit.

He is also a long-time member of the Rotary Club.
Personality
He was an independent candidate from Mauganj for the Madhya Pradesh State Assembly Elections held on November 25, 2013.
