Graduated from the Voronezh Theater School (1942, course EV Chernoy).
In 1942-1945 he was an actor of a military ensemble. In 1945-1949 he worked in the Voronezh Philharmonic and the Drama Theater, where, among others, he played the role of Tushkevich ("Anna Karenina" by Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy). In 1955-1956 and from 1958 he worked in the Grodno Drama Theater.
Among the roles: Mikhail, Tsyganov ("Zykov", "Meshchan" Maxim Gorky), Andrei ("In good time" by Viktor Sergeevich Rozov), Tuzenbakh ("Three Sisters" Anton Pavlovich Chekhov), Prince K. ("Uncle's Dream" by Fedor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky), Rodion Nikolayevich (Alexei Nikolayevich Arbuzov's "Old-fashioned comedy"), Bublik ("Platon Krechet" Alexander Yevdokimovich Korneichuk) and others.
