Was graduated from the faculty of History of Moscow State University.
After the war, he passed Ph.D. defense and was removed to Stalinabad (now Dushanbe) in accordance with the governmental campaign to "fight against cosmopolitanism." There he taught philosophy at the Tajik State University. In 1959 he returned to Moscow, worked at the Moscow Mining Institute at the Philosophy department (1959-1963), at the Institute of the History of Natural Science and Technology of the Academy of Sciences of USSR (1963-1968), at the Institute of General History of the Academy of Sciences of USSR (1968-1980), at the Institute of General and Pedagogical Psychology of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR (1980-1991), at Russian State Humanitarian University (1991-2000).
In the mid-1960s Bibler created and, until the end of his life, headed an informal home theoretical seminar on the problems of philosophical logic and the philosophy of culture. The seminar was held in a small apartment of Bibler on Leningradsky Prospekt. The participants of the seminar were philosophers, culturologists, historians and psychologists: A.V. Akhutin, L.M. Batkin, I.E. Berlyand, M.S. Glazman, T.B. Dlugach, R.R. Kondratov, Ya. A. Lyatker, N.V. Malakhova, L.A. Markova, S.S. Neretina, V.L. Rabinovich, L.B. Tumanova, and others. Since 1991 the seminar was named "Archa" and the official status in the RSUH, where Bibler worked until the end of life.
In Soviet times, Bibler managed to publish only two books - "Analysis of the Developing Concept" (1968, co-authored) and "Thinking as Creativity" (1975) and articles. The main compositions were published after 1991, among them: "From the science of science to the logic of culture: Two philosophical introductions to the 21st century." M., 1991; "Kant - Galileo - Kant. Reason of modern times in the paradoxes of self-justification. " M., 1991; Mikhail Mikhailovich Bakhtin, or the Poetics of Culture. M., 1991; "On the fringes of the logic of culture: a book of selected essays." M., 1997.In the mid-1980s Bibler created on the basis of his philosophical ideas a holistic concept of school education - the School for the Dialogue of Cultures, and for ten years the group headed "Dialogue of Cultures" held conferences of teachers working in line with this concept and published books on the problems of the School dialogue of cultures.With the beginning of perestroika Bibler took an active part in the club "Moscow Tribune". In publicistic articles and essays of this time he showed a deep connection between the pressing problems of a modern pluralistic society and its democratic arrangement with the dialogical nature of the reason and culture of the 20th century.After the death of Bibler, the book "Ideas" was published in 2 books. M., 2002. It contains a philosophical diary "Notes for future use", which Bibler conducted for 25 years, works of the genre invented by Bibler - notes of unwritten books, transcripts of reports, as well as a detailed bibliography of the works of Bibler.
