Trom 1895 at Saint St. Petersburg Electr REng Institute. From 1906 at Saint St. Petersburg Polytech Institute. From 1913 at Riga Politech Institute.
From 1925 professor 1st Leningrad Medical Institute. From 1930 professor, Leningrad Institute of Railroad Engineer. 1919-1925 co-founder and associate, Nizhniy Novgorod Radio Laboratory.
From 1932 head, Chair of Physics, Military Medical Academy. 1906-1910 ed, “Zhurnal Russkogo fiziko-khimicheskogo obshchestva. Fizicheskiy otdel”; 1918-1928 founder and ed, journal “Telegrafiya i telefoniya bez provodov”.
1901-1905 studied properties of electr sparks. 1906-1916 studied theory of high-frequency transformers. 1937 studied progressive magnetization phenomena.
