Vladimir Livshits was born on February 1, 1946 in the town of Krasny Kut in Saratov region in Russia. In June 1947, the family moved to the city of Gorky.
Achievements
In 1980 he defended his thesis on "The formation and development of agro-industrial collectives." He participated in more than 30 international, all-union and republican scientific conferences. He is the author of more than 50 books and booklets (total circulation of books is more than 65 thousand copies), more than 650 articles on philosophy, political science, sociology, pedagogy, law, history of the state and law, history of Gorky city , history of the BSAA , history of Agricultural education and science of Russia and Belarus, ethnography, and literary criticism. He is the author of articles about the Belarusian State Academy of Agriculture and the city of Gorky in the "Belarusian historical encyclopedia", "Belarusian 18 volume encyclopedia", "Encyclopedia of the Great Duchy of Lithuania." He writes in Russian and Belarusian. His scientific works were published in the United States, Israel, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Kirgistane, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
