1914-1924 military surgeon. 1924-1934 worked for toxicology laboratories at various research establishments. 1934-1952 laboratory head, deputy (sci) director, then director, Institute of Pathology and Therapy of Intoxication.
Also head, Toxicology Laboratory, Veterinary Academy. Also directed course on toxicology of radioactive substances at Centr Institute of Postgraduate Medical Training, Moscow. 1953-1965 head Toxicology Laboratory, Institute of Biophysics, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Ministry of Health.
1948-1963 correspondent member, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Medical Sciences. Then chairman. Bureau, Medical and Biological Sciences Division, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Medical Sciences. Also dcp acad secretary of this division
Member, Centr Council, All-Union Social of Physiologists. Member, Medical Section, Plenum of Higher Certification Commission. Member, editorial board, journals “Farmakologiya i toksikologiya” and “Byulieten’ ckspcrimcntaTnoy biologii i meditsiny”.
From 1950 chairman, Pharmacology and Toxicology Section, Moscow Social of Physiologists, Biochemists and Pharmacologists. Studied operative mechanism of toxic substances and did research on methods of treating their effects. Did research on pathology and experimental therapy of radioactive lesions.
Member, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Medical Sciences from 1963.
