Vladimir Maslov graduated from the Monumental-decorative Art Faculty (glass art department) of the Moscow State Academy of Industrial and Applied Arts in 1975 (teachers Yu.M. Sergeev, M.S. Yakusheva).
After graduating, Vladimir Maslov worked as a muralist in Ryazan (1975-1977) and then in Voronezh (after 1977). Maslov works mainly in the stained glass technique: "Urozhay" (1985, Berezovsky Agricultural School), "Vidyi Voronezha" (1989, Mechanical Plant, Voronezh), decorative composition on the bilding of the cinema "Mir" and the Culture Centre named after Karl Marx (1991, Voronezh), "Ryibyi" (1996, sports complex of the city of Liski, Voronezh region), "Geraldicheskiy" (2004, Bishopric building in Voronezh) and many others. As well as he worked with murals and ceramics.
