Worked in Tallinn at the Kingisepp Estonian Theatre, 1941-1950. Founder and chief director
of the Estonian Youth Theatre in Tallinn, 1965-1976. Has appeared in films.
Teacher in the Acting Faculty of the Tallinn Conservatory from 1957.
