Background
Supratman was born Wage on 9 March 1903 in Somongari, Purworejo. Several months later, his father Sergeant Djoemeno Senen Sastrosoehardjo, KNIL army added Supratman to his name and explained that Supratman born in Meester Cornelis, Batavia.
Career
